EXPRESSTRAIN: Time Management
There's never enough time. We hear reports that people are working longer hours and getting stressed. 'Better time management' is a development need on many appraisals, but you can't send dozens of people on a long, expensive time management course, which probably only tackles some aspects of the problem anyway.

In EXPRESSTRAIN Time Management, participants discuss the time management problems that affect them in their real jobs. These are collected on a whiteboard and a workshop-style session addresses each of them. Along the way, many proven time management tips and techniques are offered, particularly those which have an impact on the problems they have. At the end, every participant is asked to identify the change or new technique they will use which will have the maximum payoff.

Duration: 75 minutes. For up to 40 people. Room layout: any; chairs but not tables are needed. Equipment: A large whiteboard or at least two flipcharts at the front of the room. This event is ideal for a lunchtime 'drop-in' session.
